in a perfect world of infinite space (and money), my living room would be filled with felted stones from viva terra.
these upholstered ottomans are probably a little more realistic.
1. cut a piece of mdf to size, with a 2 or 3 inch lip around the bottom
2. attach some fabulous vintage legs to the bottom
3. layer batting on seat
4. staple a great textile (maybe a cheap kilim rug from ebay) over the batting
5. sit down and feel glamorously global chic
(ottomans 1, 2 and 4 are from anthropologie, i think number 3 is from viva terra, number 5 is from london house rugs)
