who doesn't want these anthropologie chairs for extra seating? but at $198 a pop they are unlikely to find their way into my house.

long before we were married. an upgrade is in order.

i'm thinking chinese blue or vermilion red instead of black.
depends on exactly what is in my exotic textile collection right now...

chrysanthemum, the only spider I want in my bedroom

my heart goes pitter-patter for spider chrysanthemums

a while back i saw a vintage knitting pattern for little flower bouquets tie-backs. they struck me as very anthropologie, but though i knit a lot i might be 85 before i finished such a tiny needle project with so many little parts.

i've been thinking for some weeks of making three of these knit and felted spider chrysanthemums with big green leaves and stranded tie-backs. the pattern, now out of print, is made by a company called noni.
