matchy-match

i hate matchy-match. drives me completely nuts.
my husband loves matchy-match. if everything came in sets he would be the happiest man on earth. some of the biggest design blights on my house have come from compromising on matchy-match.

we've all seen about a million sets of mis-matched chairs painted into a set. what makes this set work exceptionally well is how radically different the shapes of the chairs are. they match, but they are not even kind of matchy-match.
