my honey and i were watching secrets of a stylist and he just about died of envy for the first version of the house - the FDR chic look. these reading lights are pretty great - cheap, very functional and attractive in that unpredictable, not trying too hard kind of way.

what i'm wondering is if it would be possible to make a paper ship with a translucent paper and metal ribbing, similar to the ribbing on the Ann Wood piece below, with a small light inside, perhaps an edison bulb?
